About Farm to Fork Urban Celebration
Throughout her work in the Western New York community Patti Green, a Board Certified Health Coach, realized there’s a real disconnect about “where food comes from.” From there the Farm to Fork 716 seed was planted. This idea has blossomed into a multi-faceted educational programming initiative: from working directly with youth teaching them how to wash produce and cut tomatoes, to the TV series on WGRZ which will take families on field trips to local farms and the kitchen to prepare a nutritious meal.
Patti’s love for eating fresh seasonal ingredients has led her to create the Farm to Fork Urban Celebration program for children and their families. Celebrating the growing season and all that it has to offer!
The goal is to promote, educate, and engage the community to embrace eating and cooking with fresh local produce throughout the WNY summer & fall growing season.
Our mission is to provide the community with educational programs that include; Virtual Cooking Classes, with a “farm to fork” focus; Seasonal Meal kits complete with recipes & mini-prerecorded content; In-person events, Virtual and in-person programming, and more.
